Katie is a lover of all dogs, but she breeds and competes actively with her Doberman Pinschers under the Doberman Kennel von der Schwarz.
Katie in 2018 won the Doberman National Championships of the United Doberman Club with her stud dog Ferro (Benavides) IPO3 and is also qualified to represent the United States at the World Championships for Dobermans (IDC) in 2019 in Hungary.
Katie breeds responsibly and is one of the only Doberman breeders in the United States that in 8 years of breeding never had a single dog die of Congenital Heart Failure, which is the #1 cause of death in her breed.
She spends hours and hours in studying pedigrees and does all the necessary health testing if not more!

Joeri is our head trainer and currently competes with his German Shepherds.
Joeri won the 2018 Mid-Eastern Regionals with his stud dog Ace von der Herzen Haus IPO3.
Joeri got raised with German Shepherds in the Netherlands (Europe) and got introduced to dog training at just 10 years of age. He fell in love with the art of Schutzhund and competed on several World Championships with German Shepherds. Best results were 3rd and 9th place.
As a Schutzhund helper and trainer he has been fully or partially responsible for successful teams on World Championships with different breeds. Many times scoring excellent scores, and several
top-10 and even podium finishes.
Joeri is a specialist in the protection phase and has been certified in different countries in Europe and in the USA.
Joeri works with all breeds and is known to have a lot of experience with the so-called off breeds.
Joeri breeds German Shepherds under the kennel name von Sprekkenberg.
Several dogs from Joeri's breedings have made it to the World Championships and are currently working in law enforcement agencies all over the world.
